"General De La Rey", the popular and controversial song about the Anglo-Boer War, that has caused a public outcry in South Africa. As the British tried to do a hundred years ago, the black majority government is now trying to suppress the Afrikaner nation's culture - and in fact erase all traces of their history.
Public funding is being withdrawn from Afrikaner monuments, even though Afrikaners contribute more than their share to tax income. Millions are being spent on changing the names of towns, streets etc. while little is done to maintain infrastructure.
The new generation of Afrikaners had nothing to do with Apartheid, yet they are faced with a bleak future, suffering under racial discrimination in the form of affirmative action.
Although this excludes them from jobs and promotion beyond a certain level, it also stimulates entrepreneurship and innovative thinking.
The Afrikaner nation will rise again to take its place in the country their forefathers helped to build and develop.

Black-focused education under scrutiny as schools consider transition

What was lost this week, in the uproar over an African American lawyer with a history of hateful comments who was barred from entering Canada, was any chance for sober discussion of black-focused schooling, a largely Canadian invention that after years of bureaucratic timidity is now becoming a reality.
With Toronto black youth activists in a righteous snit over the meddling of Jewish human rights group B’nai Brith, which tipped the government to the impending visit of the fantastically named Malik Zulu Shabazz, the news of the day was racism, not education reform.
Malik Zulu Shabbaz is the leader of the racist and
anti-Semitic New Black Panther Party.
"We civilised the entire planet!"
This turns out to be the words of Nkem Anizor, the 26-year old leader of Black Youth Taking Action in Toronto, Canada.
They are busy doing their nut because the government refused entry into Canada for Malik Zulu Shabazz, the highly controversial US leader of the New Black Panther Party. SO, at a news conference she came up with this utter gem:

"We are the original people. Don't think for a second that black people did not give education to the world. We civilised the entire planet. So if anybody knows how to teach us it is us..Once you understand that we civilised all of you, maybe you'll take a step back and say, "Hmm, what happened?"
This proves that, even being in the middle of the most highly educated nation on the surface of the planet, is no guarantee that a black activist will not regress to the basic form.
Can we please ship this little hapless twit to South Africa. I'd like to also ship Malik Zulu Shabazz so he can meet some real Zulus. I'd like to sit down with the Zulus and laugh my head off at this creature when he meets his REAL namesakes. These rootless searching Americans have been a huge source of comedy to me ever since the book Roots, which is just so much c#@p. This sounds way too much like Oprah who reckoned she was a Zulu.
As it is, the folks in Toronto have decided to implement Africentric Teaching (whatever THAT is!!?...I can only imagine, but I'd be had up for rampant racism if I'm right and dared to say it).
In 1993 a Royal Commission recommended black-focused schools, but was ignored. I guess that would have been Bantu Education. BUT, if Africentric Teaching is not Bantu Education, then what on earth is it? Can we send our kids there, for example?
None of this bothers me...Frankly, it is hugely amusing. I can play hell with this for three weeks in a row and never run out of steam.
HOWEVER, here is the scary bit:
Toronto Star columnist Royson James: "If a grade 9 student hears that black people taught the Greeks and the Romans everything they knew - and later discovers the claim was a bit hyperbolic - what's the harm, when it counters centuries of indoctrination that black people are slaves and nobodies"
This kind of person is the form of psychotically guilt-ridden fool that sits at the root of all the hell and misery we have had in our lives as South Africans. Their entire concept of "black people" is "American and Caribbean slaves", and they will do ANYTHING to absolve themselves of their duly deserved sense of guilt. Basically they will assuage their guilt to the last white South African. As you can see here, they will excuse brazen lies in order to feel better about themselves. They could NEVER EVER understand that a Zulu has no crisis of identity and does not need lies to be a proud Zulu. It is not the black people who are the problem.

They got their people out."
During a protest in front of the B’nai B’rith building in Washington, D.C. (April 20, 2002), Shabazz led chants of: "death to Israel," "the white man is the devil," and "Jihad." Shabazz also said, "Kill every goddamn Zionist in Israel! Goddamn little babies, goddamn old ladies! Blow up Zionist supermarkets!"

Racism in the World is shocking.
I have 2 examples.
My one friend was engaged in the UK, she went with her Fiancé to a party, got drunk and he raped
her. She pretty much lost her sanity. She was to go on vacation to the US in a few months, her
family tried to help her to sending her there sooner. Her male internet friend in the US, married
her a few weeks later so she can use his company medical coverage. She got pregnant and
one baby followed.
She will not go back home after though her marriage is no more, she shames and worries about her kid, half black. Her family will disown her once they find out, so they dont even know.

A young lady friend is madly in love with her black boyfriend. The family disowned her when she
got married.
She is pregnant and Will basically be forced to get disowned and run away with husband. Abandoned by family. Nice ! (NOTE SARCASM !)
WTF is with the US ?
The shit I saw in NYC, NJ and DC is a million times worse than I saw in South Africa.
USA is an ass backwards country. Change is needed and long overdue. Same thing goes for the UK, and maybe just maybe Canada too.
My very first girlfriend was black, the relationship was somewhat cut short when our temp. job assignment ended and I feel the insane Pentecostal/Charismatic church she got me to go to with her after a few visits scared the crap out of me.
My dad never met her or even knows about her. But I would have been disowned too if I wanted to marry her. My dad is part of the Old Guard. But I think the Old Guard in the Western World if you will, is passing on their values to the next generation.
We can not let that happen. Love is strong, very random too. Love is life. If you love someone that is not the same skin colour as you, you should not be ashamed, nor get disowned and shunned.

Johannesburg - South Africa is the 99th most-peaceful country of 121 throughout the world, according to a global peace index compiled by the intelligence unit of the Economist, it announced in a statement from London on Wednesday.
South Africa was ranked the 14th most-peaceful of 21 African states, behind those at the top of the list, Ghana, Madagascar and Botswana, but ahead of Ethiopia, Uganda and Zimbabwe, and bottom-placed Sudan, Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire.
The world index was topped by Norway, with Japan in fifth place, Canada eighth, Germany 12th, Italy 33rd, France 34th and the United Kingdom 49th.
The United States was ranked the 96th most internally and externally peaceful nation and Russia the 118th.
According to the statement, the index was commissioned by Australian IT entrepreneur and philanthropist Steve Killelea, who founded The Charitable Foundation in 2000.
